Please Help Families on Long Island!

This school year 4 parents of kindergarten age children contacted the Long Island Advocacy Center because their children were kicked out of school.  Fortunately, LIAC was able to assist the parents in getting their children returned to school with appropriate services.

This year 2 adults with developmental disabilities were removed from their home against their will.  Fortunately, LIAC was able to assist them in returning to a new home.

Long Island Advocacy Center needs your help to continue helping families.

  • A donation of $50 allows us to provide phone assistance to 10 families.

  • A donation of $500 allows us to represent one family at a school meeting.
  • A donation of $1000 allows us to provide legal representation to a family at a formal legal proceeding.
