​Through our Family Support Services Grant, The LIAC provides: Family Support Services Coordination information, Benefits Advisement for Support Eligibility (B.A.S.E.)  and for parents that have developmental disabilities, parent training in negotiating the education system to ensure their families are provided with the support they need to be successful.

How do I apply for LIAC's OPWDD funded services?

OPWDD FUnded services

What is OPWDD? OPWDD stands for the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities. It is the New York State office that provides funding for services for individuals with developmental disabilities. 

How do I know if my family or my child is eligible for OPWDD funded services?

Eligibility for services is first determined by the Developmental Disabilities Regional Offices (DDRO) in your area. There are five regional offices thorughout NYS.
