Eilleen C. Buckley, Esq. of the Long Island Advocacy Center has organized an information seminar for families with special needs children  and would love for you to attend! The goal of this presentation will be to simplify complicated education laws and give parents the knowledge and confidence to obtain the supportive services that their children need to be successful at school. The LIAC  provides outreach and trainings in relevant laws, regulations, and advocacy skills to family members, students, educators, probation officers and other professionals.

Access to Independence  

The LIAC provides service coordination, assistance in obtaining vocational rehabilitation services and appropriate programs.

The LIAC will help you with solutions to school problems such as discipline, truancy,suspensions, residency disputes and inappropriate placements.
